Con Law Fun

While discussing a case in which the court upheld the forced sterilization of a woman because she was a 3rd generation imbecile (not my words), our Prof noted that the woman later became a teacher. He pauses...and then says "Maybe you think imbeciles can be teachers." Then he looks at us and says, "Maybe you think imbeciles can be law school professors." :)

While discussing that although it is illegal to have sex with a minor, it is not illegal to sell contraceptives to a minor, a student raised his hand to ask how that made sense since why would the minor be buying contraceptives if not to have sex. The Prof responded...maybe they are for his mother. :)

There is no wrong answer in this class...well...except that one. :)
