Since I am a new American Idol convert...here are my early picks:

For the girls: the young African American girl who's mother and grandmother are apparently famous/good singers. Spunky, cute,...and most importantly a good singer.

However...it will be interesting to see how many of these people get by on their looks...like the girl with the twin sister.

For the guys: definately the bad guy. He is my pick to win it all...he can flat out sing...and he's HOT!!!
